The 2014 vintage offered generous spring rains, good berry set and ideal growing conditions for this fickle grape variety. We have also found that shading the afternoon side of our Nebbiolo vines has helped us retain more aromatics in the finished wine. As in previous vintages this Estate Grown Nebbiolo is a blend of three
Lampia Clones that are typically co-fermented in small tanks, we allowed a long malolactic fermentation in barrel and aged sur lie for 30 months prior to bottling.

Light ruby red color offers aromas of baked plum,tamarind, anise and dates along with hints of orange rind and wild sage. In the palate flavors of cherry, dates and pomegranate dominate with subtle notes of cedar and cola. The tannins are fine grained and sweet on the entry yet vibrant and tight with a slight chalky acidity on the finish. Best from 2018 to 2030.
