Annalyce is Laura Long's middle name. It comes from the joining of the names of her grandmothers - Anne and Alyce. The 2016 was a beautiful vintage that gave us moderate yields with great quality fruit. We had what looked like an earlier vintage that then slowed down some and allowed us to hang the fruit longer than we had anticipated. We added another Sangiovese block from the base of Atlas Peak that brought more complexity to our Rosé wine program. This Rosé wine is a layering of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese Saignée, followed by other varieties woven in to the blend. The result is a delicate wine with intense red fruit character and some very subtle floral tones, as well as a slightly lower acidity than the 2015.

A bright pink salmon color offers aromas of fresh plum, raspberry, strawberry and peach, followed by subtle hints of lime rind and citrus blossom. The palate is soft yet focused with a mild acidity that balances the red fruit and palate richness. Flavors
of peach, plum and honeydew melon layer the palate and finish.
