Annalyce is Laura Long's middle name. It comes from the joining of the names of her grandmothers - Anne and Alyce. The 2015 vintage was early, short and fast. Pinot Noir from the Carneros AVA of Napa Valley was harvested and whole cluster pressed to make an amazingly delicate base wine. After fermentation, in small stainless drums, we allowed the wine to go through malolactic fermentation to soften the acids as well as round out the palate. We also produced our Sangiovese Rosé of which a small amount was blended in to add another spectrum of fruit and floral-spice to the finished wine.

This pale salmon pink rose offers aromas of strawberry, plum, and white peach. There are subtle hints of citrus blossom and watermelon. The palate is vibrant and rich with mouthwatering minerality and flavors of strawberry, pear and mixed citrus. A bright finish offers length and refreshing persistence. Best from 2016 to 2018.
